![]() And of course they rock out as well with cuts like “The Joke’s On Us” and “Modern Magic Formula”. “Spanish Radio” on the other hand comes with a nice mariachi trumpet and then there is “Skylight” which uses subtle electronic sounds. Other highlights include the ballad that is “Opposite” and “Stingin’ Belle”, also the first two singles if I’m not mistaken. “Sounds Like Balloons” is up next and starts off with the kind of typical angular guitar riff that these guys specialize in before bursting open in yet another anthemic chorus. Catchy, sensitive and with plenty of power and a killer chorus. Their latest album kicks off with “Different People” and “Black Chandelier”, which are two vintage Biffy songs. Biffy Clyro 's 2013 album, Opposites, is the band's sixth studio effort and follows up the band's hugely successful 2009 Mercury Prize-nominated release, Only Revolutions. Biffy Clyro is a weird band… while they have become a band that easily fills the biggest venues in the UK after a career of almost twenty years, the rest of the world still doesn’t quite seem to pick up on them. ![]()
